Before joining The RMN Agency, Janice worked at Seyfarth Shaw, a National Am Law 100 Firm. Janice began her career at Seyfarth as an Operations Supervisor where she was responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the office including working with the building manager on issues, solving Human Resources issues, and general upkeep of a large law firm. She very quickly transitioned into a supervisory role and eventually became the firm’s Human Resources Manager for twelve years. She served as the main point of contact for all staff and attorney-related employment issues including hiring, terminations, performance reviews, benefits, leaves of absences, HR counseling, interview processing, as well as ultimate hiring and termination decisions. During her tenure at Seyfarth, Janice onboarded over 500 attorneys and staff for the Real Estate, Labor & Employment, Litigation, Corporate, Trademark, and Immigration teams. Additionally, she negotiated the firm’s contracts with staffing agencies for contract paralegals and staff.

Prior to Seyfarth, Janice was at SunTrust Bank (Truist) for many years beginning in 1982. She worked in several different areas during her tenure and was ultimately elevated to Operations Officer. Her last position within SunTrust was in the Commercial Real Estate Department where she supervised loan closers for commercial RE loan closings.
Janice has two grown sons and lives in Mableton, GA with a very large solid white German Shepard who keeps her home sprinkled with fluffy white fur…and lots of love. She enjoys playing ALTA tennis, working in her yard, spending time with friends and family, and reading. Janice is looking forward to using her extensive onboarding and Big Law experience to assist the amazing team at The RMN Agency.
