Gaby holds her JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her BA in Criminal Justice & Criminology from Loyola University Chicago. During law school, Gaby made it a point to be involved with public service work. She interned for two different district attorney’s offices in North Carolina (Orange and Wake counties), one of which she was sworn in under North Carolina’s Third Year Practice Act. She also completed a year-long immigration clinic under the Third Year Practice Act during her final year of law school. She was president of UNC Law’s Domestic Violence Action Project and served as Vice President of the Jewish Law Students’ Association. She is currently a member of the Georgia Bar, the American Bar Association (ABA), the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, and the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA).
