Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm with an Atlanta office, is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join its Private Equity Group. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least three years of experience advising private equity firms, venture capital firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments and other general corporate matters.

In addition to the aforementioned experience, the ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and self-motivation, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.  Preference will be given to candidates with large law firm experience, immediately transferable skills, and a strong academic background.
