Legal Coordinator – Paralegal/JD Preferred
Our client, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA is looking for an experienced Legal Coordinator to join their team. This is a Hybrid (2-3 days/week Remote) Paralegal/JD Preferred position. The Legal Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate various aspects of the Firm's legal and compliance matters, including contract management, administration and licensure. This role is responsible for contracts administration for the Architecture & Design Services Projects as well as internal Corporate contracts and contracts with outside vendors, collaborating with outside counsel, as needed. This role is also responsible for Insurance Administration, serving as the liaison with insurance broker to coordinate placement and renewal of all lines of insurance policies, coverages and coverage limits in collaboration with the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. This role is also responsible for coordinating and maintaining individual licensing and records for the firm and those professionals who service as Architects of Record - including the professional's initial registration with NCARB. You would also be responsible for Corporate Compliance Administration, Legal Administration, Professional Affiliation-Membership Initiation and Renewal as well as acting as the Liaison for the Off-Site Archiving Vendor.
You should be a JD or a Certified Paralegal with 3+ years of experience. You should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel and be willing and able to learn new software. You should also be able to work well independently and in a team environment, be able to set priorities, multi-task and be flexible while maintaining effectiveness, maintain discretion and demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through. Contract management experience, especially with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is preferred. Current Notary Public status is also preferred.
