Our client, a fast-growing technology data company which works on servicing portfolios on behalf of consumer lenders, is seeking their first-ever Compliance Counsel.  The Compliance Counsel would serve as an internal business partner for the company’s C-Suite, providing general corporate legal support and  assisting the Head of Business Operations with managing the Compliance Team.  The company offers a hybrid schedule, but the person in this role must be located in Atlanta. 

The ideal candidate will have 5 - 8 yrs regulatory compliance experience in the consumer lending space, particularly from a large bank or from a small dollar lender that deals with subprime lending.  In addition to the requisite experience, the company is looking for a hard-working team player who fits in well with the company’s culture and won’t hesitate to pitch in where needed.  Candidates must have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
