Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, has an opening for an associate with at least 3 years of relevant transactional experience, preferably in a large law firm.  Candidates should have experience in M&A transactions and the ability to support others on a wide variety of deals, particularly M&A and private equity deals; the ability to draft M&A transaction documents; experience with corporate due diligence projects; the ability to manage complex transactions to closing; familiarity with corporate governance principles; and familiarity with federal securities laws. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials.  Candidates also must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
