Commercial Contracting / Privacy & Cybersecurity Counsel

Description
Our client, a prominent national law firm, is seeking a Counsel to join its Commercial Contracting and its Privacy & Cybersecurity teams. Qualified candidates will have:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working on technology commercial contracts (including SaaS, IOT/IIOT, mobile apps and reseller agreements), data processing agreements, and data privacy compliance.
- At least three (3) years of contract drafting and negotiating experience in a law firm environment.
- Experience with the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws; developing data protection compliance programs; and providing counsel on data processing activities.
- A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
- IAPP/CIPP certification is a plus.
